The SN1 Solar Node is not your average development board. It provides a IP65 enclosure, lid with a 0.8W solar panel, 18650 battery protection and solar charger, ultra-low power 3.3V switching regulator, an ESP32-C3 with USB-C jack, battery monitoring circuit, power switch (still allows charging when off), and an onboard temperature sensor to get you started. Almost all I/Os are brought out to 0.1″ pin header holes and a small prototyping strip-board (0.1″ spacing) is also provided.
Depending on your needs, the device may be used with either a single or dual 18560 lithium-ion cells. For single-cell only applications, extra prototyping space is available for your custom circuit.
Example ESPHome firmware comes pre-installed and source files are available on our github page.
